Transgender Persons (Rights) Act, 2019 Awareness
Lecture was held on 14/09/2023 in the PGGC-46. Sh. Amit, Counselor of the
transgender Protection Cell from the Dept. of Social Welfare, Chandigarh
provided awareness of schemes like provision of Identity Cards for Transgender
Persons, single window in Hospital of TG person, appointment of Complaint
Office and many more. He also handed over the hard copy of the Transgender
Persons (Rights) Act, 2019. Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff attended the
lecture.
